2008. snowball house.

the snowball house playfully interprets winter snowball fights and snowmen forms into a whimsical design for the ice hotel. the spheres soften the materiality of ice, and suggest billowing clouds and fluffy pillows. the shapes are easy to build (for instructions, ask any eight-year-old) and materials readily available. just roll a ball of snow around the yard,
and voila! you have created a part of the design.
